Major & Complex Claims specialist with 39 years’ experience in dealing with complex liability claims including, Public Liability, Products, Environmental Loss, Statutory Liability, Fidelity and Professional Indemnity.
Main aim is to manage the claim to the lowest possible spend level whether through negotiating a correct level of quantum; an adequately presented repudiation or an early consideration to a compromise settlement.
Albert started his career as a Loss Adjuster in New Zealand in 2011, and previously worked as an investigator in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He is a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and Associate of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (chartered by examination).
Albert holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Loss Adjusting). He has experience in a wide range of insurance disciplines and has specialised in Commercial Property, Commercial Major Loss, Contract Works, and has experience in Public and Products Liability Fidelity/Employee Theft and ACC claims. He is also an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist and will be pursuing his Certificate of Approval to be a registered Private Investigator at CPS.
Beatrix started her career as a liability adjuster in South Africa in 2007 after she worked as a senior legal officer for a large insurance underwriter.
She holds the law degree BA(Law) B(Proc) and was a member of the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Southern Africa before relocating in 2011 to New Zealand. She is a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. With a strong background in insurance, backed by legal studies, she particularly enjoys liability claim assessments and has solid experience dealing with a variety of claims in the liability field.
